Jayden's Birthday (Part One)

Apparently Blogger doesn't want to work correctly so instead of lumping this all in to one post, I'm going to have to do it separately. The picture loading has just gone all funky and it won't let you rearrange anything. Boo! :(

Anyway, Jayden's birthday was on the 8th and we had a mini celebration with just the four of us at home on his actual birthday. We gave him a few of his presents early before his big birthday party and Grandma Joan also brought some stuff over for him from Aunt Judi and cousin Noelle since they couldn't make it to the party. Here are some of the highlights from his mini celebration: He got an automobile set that comes with a drill so you can put them together and take them apart (and he thought it was really funny to use the drill on Daddy's head to try to "fix" him... to which I said that some things that are broken just cannot be fixed. Haha! All in good fun...), he also got some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figurines and such from his second (or third??) cousins Elijah and Lukas (Cousin Noelle's kids)... he had lots of fun crashing them together saying, "Turtle...tackle!". Yes, Aaron has taught him how to tackle and he now has learned a new phrase: "Tackle the baby!". Yes, that means Jaxson. Great. Then there was the tradition of cake and opening gifts, both of which were more entertaining this year seeing as he's actually grasped the concept... as did Jaxson since he wanted to help his big brother and Jayden did not like sharing.

So here are some pictures of his 2nd birthday celebration...
