A story of one ordinary mom's adventures in raising three young boys and enjoying life as the Queen of her castle full of princes!

4th of July!
Ok, last round of pictures for today before I go to enjoy the weekend. Here are a few pictures of the kiddos on the 4th of July. We spent the holiday with Tommy and Samantha at their house. I'm excited for when the boys get older and they can actually play with sparklers in the driveway and REALLY enjoy the fireworks...
Aaron and I met December 10, 1999 when we were freshmen in high school. We met through a mutual friend and, despite an initial attraction and friendship, we started dating four years later in October 2003 when we were freshmen in college. Aaron said it was "love at first sight" for him but I made him wait... poor guy! In our almost 8 years together, we have had a crazy and emotional journey together including a whirlwind romance leading to our first marriage together at the age of 18. After our failed first marriage and some time apart, we rekindled our romance in the summer of 2006. From there we have continued to grow individually and as a couple both spiritually and romantically. After welcoming our oldest son in December 2007, we recommitted ourselves and married again on October 26, 2008. We have since welcomed two more sons to our family in April 2009 and January 2011. It is through our trials and tribulations and by the grace and love of God that our relationship has been restored. We have come to realize that despite our imperfections and differences, we truly love each other and are committed to each other and our family. As much as he can drive me crazy, I love this man and am grateful that he is my husband, that I am his wife, and that our children have such an awesome Daddy.
Owen Isaiah
Owen Isaiah is our third baby & third little boy. He graced us a week and a half early on January 27th 2011. He has been dubbed with the additional monikers of "Monkey", "Little Worm" (thanks Auntie Cheri!), "Peanut", and "O-Dizzle" (aka "Diz"). Owen absolutely loves to be held and cuddled and is, by far, the biggest Mama's Boy of them all. He can instantly light up a room with his smile and no one makes him laugh better than his adoring big brother, Jayden. He's as sweet as apple pie and looks almost like his big brother Jaxson with the exception of his DARK brown hair! He loves to bounce in his bouncer and grab at anything in sight. Even though he's only been here a short time, he's reminded us the meaning of true, unconditional love and we are just soaking all of him in as a family of five.

Jaxson Robert
Jaxson is our lovable 2 year old son. While definitely embracing the "terrible twos", he is a sweet little boy who likes to cuddle with Mommy and wrestle with Daddy. He idolizes his big brother and loves to sneak kisses to his baby brother. He's officially been dubbed the future video gamer in our family and already kidnaps our smartphones to get his daily fix of "Angry Birds" (not to mention he knows how to navigate it better than me!). He loves to watch children's educational shows and can outdrink anyone in a lemonade drinking contest. In addition to his sweet tooth, he will try pretty much any type of food in sight. His favorite toys are anything superhero related or anything on wheels.

Jayden Ezra
Jayden is our energetic, independent, and rambunctious 3.5 year old. Don't let his age fool you--- he's 3, but the size of a 5-6 year old! Lovingly nicknamed Punky & J-Man, he fits the "all boy" description perfectly and looks just like his Daddy. He's rough and tough and well on his way to being a professional athlete. :) He loves his baby brother, Owen, more than anyone in the world and takes pride in helping with him and loving on him as much as possible. Besides being "Daddy's Boy" and Jaxson's best friend, Jayden lives and breathes sports and superheroes. He's currently obsessed with Iron Man & Power Rangers and he likes to slam and jam his basketball. True to the spirit of a boy, he is addicted to anything with wheels. Jayden loves to play at the park or have pretend gun and sword fights with his brother. His favorite foods are corn dogs, french fries, berries, chicken nuggets, and macaroni... and hey, what kid doesn't love sweets? Despite his "all boy" personality, he is also very generous with hugs, kisses, and "I love you's" and loves his snuggle blankies. Jay is a very sweet and smart boy...he astounds us daily with his quick learning.
I'm a 25 year old office-working, born-again Christian but liberal-minded mom and wife. My husband and I have been together since 2003 (married since October 26th 2008) and we have three handsome boys: Jayden, born December 8th 2007, Jaxson, born April 5th 2009, and our newest addition, Owen, born January 27th 2011. This is a glimpse at our happy while crazy and chaotic life as we try to serve the Lord the best way we can. It is truly with His grace that, as imperfect sinners, we make this journey.
