23 Weeks

How far along?: 23w2d
Total weight gain: 13 pounds
How big is baby?: BabyCenter says that the baby is about the size of a large mango--- or roughly 11-12 inches long and weighs just over a pound.
Maternity clothes?: Yup!! My regular pants (with the exception of one pair) are collecting dust right now. I can still wear some of my shirts though.
Stretch marks?: Still no new ones that I've noticed... just the ones from Jay & Jax which aren't that many.
Sleep?: Depends on the night. Last night was a good one. :)
Best moment this week?: Browsing through items I want to buy for Owen... Etsy has some darn cute hats I'm going to buy for Owen's newborn pictures. I love shopping & planning for babies. :)
Movement?: Multiple times every day. I'm fairly positive that Owen is still head down because I feel occasional grinding on my cervix which usually comes from something large (like a head) and I feel his hiccups down near my butt (as weird & embarrassing as that is to say).
Food cravings?: Nothing out of the ordinary. Still like my tuna sandwiches. :)
Labor signs?: No, but I did have a ton of Braxton Hicks yesterday... more than what I'm usually used to.
Belly button in or out?: Still in, but I noticed that it seems to be getting flatter by the week.
What I miss: Seeing my feet or anything below the waist. Or being able to bend over comfortably. Oy... and I still have a long way before 40 weeks. Owen's gonna be HUGE!
What I'm looking forward to: Lots of things. I'm wishing February was here so I can decorate his nursery & pull out all the cute baby outfits again. I like nesting in a weird way. I like being prepared & anticipating the arrival of a new baby. :)
Weekly Wisdom: Get your flu shot...especially if you are preggo with young kids already in the house and you are due during flu season!! I cannot imagine having the flu or having sick kids with the flu & a newborn around (nor do I want to!!).
Milestone: Almost 6 months pregnant! WOW! Fetal movement can be seen on the outside of the belly (I've seen mine jiggle a couple times), blood vessels are developing in the lungs to aid with breathing, and the baby is starting to be able to pick up sounds from the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar to baby now (like kids screaming, vacuum cleaners, etc) probably won't faze him/her outside the womb.

Also, I've set up a "baby pool" game for Owen as I have done in the past for Jayden & Jaxson. It's just something super fun to do to pass the time and guess baby's stats at birth. I will have to set up the direct link to the game once I'm at home as the site for it is blocked by my work for some random reason, but if you want to leave your guess in the meantime, I think you can try it by following these simple instructions:

2. There should be a box on the left side of the page that will prompt you to enter in a game name. Our game name is: owenisaiah
3. My guess will probably be the only one there, but if you see a game for "Shannon and Aaron"--- that's us.
4. Feel free to enter your FREE guess of Owen's birthday, time of birth, weight, & length!!

Also, here's this week's picture (nevermind the fact that my hubby chopped my head off, lol).
